What inspires you?
The music I listen to, the friends I’ve surrounded myself with and my fandom of sneaker culture, anime and comic books.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
You will always be a work in progress and that’s okay, everyone is!
What industry blogs/websites/podcasts do you enjoy?
I read a lot from Kai Lawson and in terms of podcasts I’m more of a sporadic listener so primarily whatever is sent to me.
What do you think the future holds for people of color in creative industries?
Nothing but amazing opportunities, but the way for us to attain them is by reaching forward and grabbing them.

What is your dream job?
A strategy role where the importance of DEI in the way we think of comms/connections is fully understood and adapted.
What skill(s) would you develop if you had more time?
I love editing videos, especially for mobile platforms. If I had more time, I would learn to use Final Cut Pro and other sophisticated video editing software.
What is the last thing you learned?
How to do a voice over on Tik Tok videos haha.
What are you working on right now?
Right now, I am doing fashion freelance writing as well as social strategy for a beauty brand.
If you could talk to your favorite creative for an hour, who would it be? Why?
I would talk to Bozoma Saint John, primarily because she has shown a resilience against industry norms while still making strides to impact culture at scale.
What advice would you give to creatives of color looking to pursue their passion full-time?
It’s 100% possible and do not let the perspective or opinions of others steer you away from your end goal.
How do you keep your creative drip going?
Take consistent breaks to refresh my mental state, travel to consistently expose myself to new environment and spend time with the visionaries community.
