What inspires you?
The beauty of people and nature. I love drawing beautiful people that I see.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Another person can never give you the fulfillment that you can give yourself by staying on track with your goals and helping others. Everyone has tough times but not everyone chooses the correct way to react to them.
What industry blogs/websites/podcasts do you enjoy?
Unfortunately, I don’t consume any of the above. I’m so busy with school and my two toddlers! I am reading a book called Emotional Intelligence 2.0
What do you think the future holds for people of color in creative industries?
I see a bright future for creative people of color. People are starting to wake up to injustices done to pc. It seems like we’re starting to realize that we need to look to each other for stability and growth. Other people are not going to help us grow. We need to come together and support each other to see a brighter future.

What is your dream job?
I would love to work on art full time. Creating brings me so much joy. Getting paid to do it would give me more time and resources to do what I love.
What skill(s) would you develop if you had more time?
3D rendering.
What is the last thing you learned?
Aside from being a college student, I’m currently learning about emotional intelligence.
What are you working on right now?
Geode gemstone and 24k gold leaf embellished paintings.
If you could talk to your favorite creative for an hour, who would it be? Why?
Jaceykdesigns has been my motivation to perfect my craft. Her color combinations and methods are perfect!
What advice would you give to creatives of color looking to pursue their passion full-time?
Write your goals down on paper! Reach out to people in your industry that inspire you! Never compare yourself to others unless you are using it as fuel to get better at your craft :)
How do you keep your creative drip going?
It’s just something that I love to do. I can get so enthralled in a piece that reality escapes me.
