What do you think the future holds for people of color in creative industries?

I think it’s vital that more people of color are needed in the creative industry. The numbers are far and rare with people of color found in creative roles, so we definitely need more.

Don’t let anyone dim your creativity.

What advice would you give to creatives of color looking to pursue their passion full-time?

Find various connections within your field on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Be sure to attend creative events/socials that will help you get your name out there and possibly find opportunities through the event’s networking.

How do you keep your creative drip going?

I usually try to stay creative by creating passion projects or painting different subjects.
