I would say its part experience and part trying to constantly surround myself with all types of different creatives.

What advice would you give to your younger self? 

I would tell my younger self that behind the sense of failure or misfortune is a light of success and opportunity.

What do you think the future holds for people of color in creative industries?

After being exposed to organizations/companies like Black Door, The MIM Connect, and The Digital Footprint, where bringing black excellence to the table is a priority, I am excited for the potential success of people of color in the creative industries.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is one where the culture is amazing and I am constantly being challenged by my peers and my design work.

What skill(s) would you develop if you had more time? 

Coding, web design (I am trying currently do learn more about),  photography, marketing, and consumer psychology.

What is the last thing you learned? 

I learned that fake it till you make it really is a true statement, because most successful people just had blind belief in themselves and then were able to eventually gain their success.

What are you working on right now?

I am currently working on building my motivational apparel business, Hustle Hard Life Movement and freelance projects.

If you could talk to your favorite creative for an hour, who would it be? Why?

This is really hard but I think I would want to talk to Chris Do because he is a great storyteller but is also a creative who has mastered the world of teaching and business in combination with design and art.

What advice would you give to creatives of color looking to pursue their passion full-time?

Believe and you will achieve. You have to believe in yourself and your abilities to manifest greatness and when you can't find the belief in yourself you have to lean on your support system whether that be your family, friends, or groups online.

How do you keep your creative drip going? 

I stay creative by surrounding myself with art, music, and design. I also try to practice my craft daily with fun personal projects.
